Welcome to Phoenix Quilts!

We are no longer Operation Wood Hollow, but are now Phoenix Quilts!  We are expanding our goals with all of the donations coming in (and with all of the homes that have been turned to ashes because of these awful wildfires) and thought this was a great name to represent what we're doing!  Go to the "About Us" tab to refresh your memory on the mythological Phoenix bird!  :o)

As you can see this blog needs a LOT of TLC, buttons need to be made, etc., but I need to spend my time on much more important things right now!  I've got LOTS of quilts to get ready to be delivered!!!  :o)

Thank you so much for helping us spread the word about Phoenix Quilts!!!  With a little help from everyone WE CAN DO THIS!!!  :o)

Hugs!

    1. Thanks for visiting Phoenix Quilts! To be honest with you, any of the items when you press the “What to Donate?” tab are what we need “most!” :o) A completed quilt would be awesome, but if you aren’t able to do that, then any of the other things would be great to help us make a completed quilt. I have gals here ready and waiting to help me complete quilts that are sent in unfinished. We are using the money that is donated to buy things that we may be short on for the quilts. So really, anything that you would be willing to donate would be great! :o)

Thank you so much for being willing to help out!

      Hugs!

  5. It's a wonderful thing that you're doing. I'm going to be finishing a quilt for donation within the next few weeks. Just wanted you to know I grabbed the button to put on my blog but it's not linking to this page when you click it. It goes to Flickr. Just thought you should know.

  6. What a great site! In fact my husband is a wildland fire manager. He's off on a fire right now, the Dahl Fire in Montana. 73 homes were lost there, many that were under many feet of water in the floods in 2011 Spring. So sad! I'll have ot bookmark you and see what I can sew up for these folks! We had an apartment complex in our town (Pendleton, OR) over the week-end as the result of a possible grass fire. Over 40 units were destroyed, so I'm donating there as well. Thanks for your effort!!
